Green varieties are less sweet and slightly more bitter than other colours of capsicum. Capsicums belong to the Solanaceae (nightshade) family, which also includes potatoes, tomatoes and eggplants. It contains a whole array of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that can protect our cells and boost our immune system. Capsicum contains a nutritional profile that is excellent for weight loss.
